在这里每两天就有一项专利诞生，截止到今天，已实现专利申报近300项。2003年中国重汽首次参加国际专利博览会就荣获两项金奖、一项银奖。按照新的规划，中国重汽技术发展中心将建设成国际一流、为重型汽车行业和山东省汽车工业提供全面服务的技术研发机构。

CNHTC's technical
innovation stems from powerful technical
backing, CNHTC-Technical Development Centre,
state-level enterprise technical centre and
state-grade I motor vehicle research institute.
It boasts the strongest technical strength in
domestic heavy duty truck industry, and
possesses first-class laboratories and testing
equipment. It holds domestically a safe lead in
technical innovation ability. Its product
development ability has stepped on new stage of
manufacturing a generation, reserving a
generation and developing a generation.
At present, CNHTC-Technical
Development Centre applies every two days for a
patent registration. Up to date, it has nearly
300 patent applications. In 2003, CNHTC made its
first appearance in the International Patent
Fair and won two golden prizes and one silver
prize. According to new rules, CNHTC Technical
Development Centre will be built into a
first-class international technical research and
development institution to provide heavy duty
truck industry and Shandong provincial
automobile industry with overall service.
